Train Passage at Rudesheim, Germany

2015 Europe trip,Rudesheim, Germany

August 2015

One aspect of buying used camera equipment is not knowing what custom settings have been stored in some of the presets.  I had acquired a D7100 body in 2015 and never got around to erasing the previous settings, just overwrote them with my settings over time.  There is an “Effects” preset that I never used before until our Europe trip when I turned it to that mode and this was the result.  I thought it was neat the way it turned out.  The straight lines help to maximize the effect, other attempts using this setting on landscapes didn’t have the same impact.  Nikon D7100 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture.
