June 2017

This was taken from aboard the Viking Star as she sailed by this picturesque waterfall,  located along the Geirangerfjorden in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway.  This waterfall consists of seven separate streams, and the tallest of the seven has a free fall that measures 820 ft.  The legend has it that the ”Seven Sisters” were all unmarried, and the waterfall on the other side of the fjord has been called ”The Suitor” after several unsuccessful attempts to court the sisters.  Nikon D500 w/18-200mm, processed with Aperture and Aurora HDR.
