USS Coronado LCS-4

2015_DSC_5820_D7100_SP@San Francisco, CA

October 2015

Looking like a ship out of a James Bond movie, the Coronado is the second littoral combat ship (LCS) to feature a high-speed trimaran hull.  Built at the Austal USA shipyard in Mobile, Alabama, she was commissioned on 5 April 2014.  These Independence-class warships only require a crew of 40.  Three image panorama of a moving vessel (35 MP fullsize image).  Nikon D7100 w/80-400mm, processed with Panorama Stitcher and Aperture.
